Great Lake

Not many of us are truly acquainted with the sublime, where one is made explicitly aware of the scale of the world as it envelopes you with all of its splendour. In a journey that not all are fortunate enough to document, Sam Clarke has captured the understated magnificence of Lake Garda, Italy, with a view to the ways humanity has nestled into the landscape. As we continue to move forward and see less unused space and more and more land developed, it remains refreshing to remember that there are still these oasis of tranquility we can pilgrimage to for peace.
